What are our "rights"?????

Wednesday February 1 2012

Psalm 12:3) “May the Lord bring their flattery to an end and silence their proud tongues.”

Thank God, we know that one day the deception will end! We know this is true because we know one day Jesus will return to bring us unto himself and to our Heavenly home where there are no lying lips or deceit and so shall we ever be with the Lord! Amen.

Psalm 12:4) “They say We will lie to our hearts content.  Our lips are our own - who can stop us?”

Satan is using his evil servants to spread deceitfulness.  People, in general, are searching for fulfillment but many are not willing to research and seek the truth.  Jesus says, “ If you will seek me, I will be found by you.” and “Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not be ashamed.”  If we seek the truth, it will lead us to the Holy inspired word of God, which is the pure ultimate truth.  There have been countless men and women who have set out to disclaim the truth of the Bible only to discover the deception they  lived under was shattered and the truth was revealed as they studied and researched.

Today, many are looking for a “quick fix” and accept “spoofs” that sound inviting and provide a quick answer.  The result is, either disappointing or selling their souls to the evil one who lurks around like a roaring lion waiting to devour the innocent.

There is such an emphasis on the “rights” of people who claim that “nothing” will happen to them, it is their right to do and say whatever they want. Although God created human beings with freedom to choose, we, as Christians, are not our own, we have been bought with the price of Jesus, God’s own son, and we have a responsibility to search for the path that our Maker designed for us to travel on. Be encouraged to seek the Lord while he may be found, and start traveling on the road that leads to the peace and joy that is waiting for you to embrace.

Prayer for today: Precious Lord, Thank-you for providing the way to know what truth is by your inspired Word. May my words be a blessing to you and others, Lord.  Thank-you for meeting all our needs and always knowing exactly what we need and when we need it. Help me to stay on the path that you have chosen for me and to seek your face when I am confused. You paid the price for me to be able to choose salvation and spend eternity with you.  In Jesus name, Amen.
